Cookie Policy

This document informs Users about the technologies that help Tender Hound AI to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Data Controller to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User's device as they interact with Tender Hound AI.

For simplicity, all such technologies are defined as "Trackers" within this document — unless there is a reason to differentiate. For example, while Cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile apps as they are a browser-based Tracker. For this reason, within this document, the term Cookie is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.

Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may also require the User's consent. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.

Tender Hound AI uses Trackers managed directly by the Data Controller (so-called "first-party" Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by a third party (so-called "third-party" Trackers). Unless otherwise specified within this document, third-party providers may access the Trackers hosted by them.

The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by the Data Controller or the relevant provider. Some of them expire upon termination of the User's browsing session.

In addition to what is specified in the description within each of the categories below, Users may find more precise and updated information regarding lifetime specification as well as any other relevant information — such as the presence of other Trackers — in the linked privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting the Data Controller.

How Tender Hound AI uses Trackers

Strictly necessary

Tender Hound AI uses so-called "technical" Cookies and other similar Trackers to carry out activities that are strictly necessary for the operation or delivery of the Service. These Trackers do not require consent under Italian and EU law.

First-party Trackers managed by the Data Controller

  • Authentication and session cookies Used to recognize the User across page requests, keep the User logged in, and remember the last active workspace. Without these cookies, the User would have to re-authenticate at every page request. Personal Data processed: authentication identifiers; session token; last active organization identifier. Storage duration: session-scoped or up to a few weeks, depending on the chosen "remember me" preference.

  • Security cookies (CSRF / anti-abuse) Used to protect Users from Cross-Site Request Forgery and similar attacks, and to detect abuse of the authentication flows. Storage duration: session.

  • Preference cookies Used to remember user-interface choices such as the selected color theme (light / dark) and the chosen locale. Storage duration: typically up to 1 year.

  • Trial-pricing / launch-pricing cookies Used to remember whether the workspace is eligible for launch pricing and trial periods. Storage duration: session-scoped or until the underlying entitlement is resolved server-side.

Experience

Tender Hound AI uses Trackers to improve the quality of the User experience and to enable interactions with external content, networks and platforms.

Third-party Trackers

  • Embedded fonts and static assets (CDN-delivered) Where Tender Hound AI loads typefaces or other static assets from a third-party CDN, the third-party provider may set technical cookies or collect connection metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver the asset and protect against abuse. Personal Data processed: Usage Data; Trackers.

Measurement

Tender Hound AI may use Trackers to measure traffic and analyze User behavior with the goal of improving the Service. The Data Controller uses analytics in a privacy-preserving way (for example, by relying on aggregated or pseudonymized data and IP truncation where supported).

Third-party Trackers

  • Error monitoring To detect bugs and runtime errors, Tender Hound AI may use an error-monitoring service that collects technical information about errors, including a pseudonymous user identifier, browser metadata, the URL where the error occurred and a stack trace. Cookies or local-storage entries may be used to correlate sequential errors from the same User. Personal Data processed: Usage Data; Trackers. Storage duration: up to 1 year.

Marketing

Tender Hound AI does not currently use Trackers to deliver personalized advertisements or marketing content. If this changes in the future, this section will be updated and — where required by law — User consent will be collected before any marketing Tracker is activated.

How to manage preferences and provide or withdraw consent

Where the use of Trackers is based on consent, Users can provide or withdraw such consent by setting or updating their preferences via the relevant privacy choices panel available on Tender Hound AI (if displayed).

In addition to the above, Users can manage preferences for Trackers directly from within their own device settings and prevent — for example — the storing of Trackers.

In addition, Users can delete Trackers already stored on their device. Please note that disabling Trackers may affect the proper functioning of the Service.

Users can find information about how to manage Cookies in some of the most common browsers at the following addresses:

Users may also manage certain categories of Trackers used on mobile apps by opting out through the relevant device settings such as the device advertising settings for mobile devices, or tracking settings in general (Users may open the device settings to view and search for the relevant setting).

Consequences of denying the use of Trackers

Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Trackers. However, please note that Trackers help Tender Hound AI to provide a better experience and advanced functionality (in line with the purposes outlined in this document). Therefore, if the User chooses to block the use of Trackers, the Data Controller may be unable to provide related features. Strictly necessary Trackers cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.

Since the installation of third-party Trackers and other tracking technologies operated by third parties within the services used by Tender Hound AI cannot be technically controlled by the Data Controller, any specific reference to Trackers and tracking technologies installed by third parties is to be considered indicative. In order to obtain complete information, Users are kindly requested to consult the privacy policies for the respective third-party services listed in this document.

Given the objective complexity surrounding tracking technologies, Users are encouraged to contact the Data Controller should they wish to receive any further information on the use of such technologies by Tender Hound AI.
